Personality
Lino can be very slow, which is not to say that he's stupid but that it takes him time to figure things out. He is also innocent to the point of naïveté. However, he is a gentle person and many people find him likable.
Background
Lino's species lives in tribes in South America. He was born into one such tribe, and was nurtured by his mother and taught by the group's elder. However, while he was young he wandered too far away from the safety of his family. A group of young, adult humans found him and were messing with him, poking him with sharp sticks and being jerk-faces by hurting him.
Then along came Carter, who saved him from the others at the price of getting his ass beaten, too. When the bullies left, Carter lifted Lino to carry him away, mixing his blood and the demon's together and bonding them. Since he now looked human enough, Carter ended up taking him to a hospital. After this event, Lino began stalking him.
Eventually they became friends, and ended up on the island together.
